A former high school English teacher,
Diane brings 32 years’ experience teaching needle arts to her classes, lectures
and workshops. She has taught mainly in the Mid-Atlantic states for many shops,
more than 30 quilt and other needlework guilds and various festivals, including
the Rhinebeck Sheep and Wool Festival!
With an extensive background in
quilting, specializing in crazy quilting along with many other types of
stitchery when she discovered wool applique about 15 years ago, she declares
she was smitten! Since then, she has introduced many traditional quilters to
the joys of wool applique through her program, Working with Wool for Quilters.
Diane has lived for most of her life in the beautiful Hudson Valley. She
and her husband Eric share their cozy chicken coop-turned-cottage with their 94-
pound Irish Setter, Tucker.
